If you h...Hi Margaret--
Thanks for visiting my blog! If you have not been to Auvers-sur-Oise, an easy daytrip from Paris, then you MUST go, especially if you plan to follow the van Gogh trail in Provence. In Auvers you can visit Vincent and Theo's graves, the Auberge Ravoux (including Vincent's room), and Dr. Gachet's house. And the wheatfields (as in "Crows over the..."). Bon Voyage!Sheramy Bundrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02524287538029230566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2344548830618247839.post-89840177456000604012008-04-27T22:48:00.000-06:002008-04-27T22:48:00.000-06:00now, that's one place i am DYING TO GO, cant wait ...now, that's one place i am DYING TO GO, cant wait for you to blog about it..me - going off to somewhere in may, but not paris (sob..sob), going to siem reap to see the angkor wat..so we'll have plenty to blog about when we are back :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16402753481785047700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2344548830618247839.post-91507969882247133232008-04-25T20:50:00.000-06:002008-04-25T20:50:00.000-06:00I don't have any tips because I haven't been to Pa...I don't have any tips because I haven't been to Paris for 9 years. I don't know if you heard that Mr. Bond is planning a Calvin tour in July 2009, and there's a growing chance that Andrew and I will be able to go. Trying to get someone to be willing to watch three boys for 10 days is a little tricky, though ;o).

Have fun in Paris!Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00393320162627829655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2344548830618247839.post-86928554053073256932008-04-23T11:28:00.001-06:002008-04-23T11:28:00.001-06:00The Secret Garden isn't recognized as gothic liter...The Secret Garden isn't recognized as gothic literature??? All the imagery! I understand to a point because with the language that Burnett uses, it seems to have been geared towards children, same as Little Princess. Although, I read both of those in high school and there are definitely themes that children would not understand (or would, but not fully). Now I want to read them again to see if I missed anything.
By the way, I'm so excited for you and France! And more than a little jealous! But I'm NOT jealous of the thesis. That is one thing I'm not looking forward to in grad school.skatejhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16774816589101208646noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2344548830618247839.post-55520965683351382572008-04-23T11:28:00.000-06:002008-04-23T11:28:00.000-06:00Thanks, Nancy!
